At Zaavar, every garment is thoughtfully crafted using natural fabrics and traditional hand-block printing techniques. We strive to deliver your order in perfect condition and within the estimated timelines. Kindly read our Shipping, Exchange & Return Policy before placing your order.
SHIPPING POLICY
Order Processing
- All confirmed orders are processed and prepared for dispatch within 4–5 business days from the date of order confirmation and successful payment.
- Orders are processed only on business days (Monday to Friday), excluding public holidays.
Delivery Timeline
- Domestic orders are generally delivered within 3–5 business days after dispatch. International delivery timelines vary depending on the destination country and customs clearance.
- Delivery timelines are estimates and should not be construed as guaranteed delivery dates.
Delivery Delays
While we make every effort to deliver your order on time, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- National or regional holidays
- Government restrictions or sudden public holidays
- Festivals or peak shopping seasons
- Weather conditions, natural disasters or force majeure events
- Transportation disruptions
- Courier partner delays
- Remote or difficult-to-service locations
- Circumstances affecting production or logistics
In such situations, Zaavar shall not be held liable for delays in delivery. However, our team will actively monitor the shipment and provide all reasonable assistance until the order reaches you.
Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at the time of placing the order.
Zaavar shall not be responsible for delays, additional shipping charges, failed deliveries, or loss arising from incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate addresses or contact details provided by the customer.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or refusal to accept the shipment, any re-shipping charges shall be borne by the customer.
Delivery Attempts
Delivery will be attempted as per the courier partner's standard delivery policy. If the customer is unavailable during all delivery attempts, the shipment may be returned to our warehouse.
Re-dispatch of such orders will be subject to payment of applicable shipping charges.
Order Tracking
Tracking details will be shared once your order has been dispatched. Customers are requested to monitor the shipment using the tracking information provided.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, if applicable, will be displayed during checkout before payment.
EXCHANGE POLICY
We offer one-time size exchange to ensure the right fit.
Eligibility
Size exchange is available only if:
- The request is raised within 7 days from the date of delivery.
- The requested size is available in stock.
- The product is unused, unwashed, unworn, unaltered, and in its original condition.
- All original tags, labels, packaging, invoices, and accessories are intact.
- The product does not show any signs of wear, perfume, stains, washing, ironing, damage, or alteration.
Exchange Conditions
- Only one exchange is permitted per order/item.
- Exchanges are permitted only for size-related issues.
- Exchange for a different design, colour, product, or style is not permitted.
- Customized, altered, discounted, promotional, gift card, or clearance items are not eligible for exchange unless they have a verified manufacturing defect.
- Exchange is subject to stock availability. If the requested size is unavailable, Zaavar reserves the right to offer store credit or any other suitable resolution at its sole discretion.
Customers may be required to bear applicable reverse shipping or re-shipping charges where applicable.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
No Refund Policy
All products sold by Zaavar are sold on a no refund basis.
Once an order has been confirmed and dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, returned for refund, or exchanged except as specifically mentioned under this policy.
No refunds shall be provided for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect size selection
- Colour preference
- Delayed delivery due to circumstances beyond Zaavar's control
- Personal dislike after receiving the product
Refunds shall not be processed under any circumstances unless required under applicable law.
MANUFACTURING DEFECTS
Every garment undergoes quality inspection before dispatch.
If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please contact our Customer Care within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Order number
- Clear photographs and/or videos of the issue
- Description of the concern
The product will be evaluated by our quality team.
If the issue is confirmed to be a genuine manufacturing defect, Zaavar may, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the product;
- Replace the product; or
- Offer store credit where replacement is not possible.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, improper washing, mishandling, colour variation, shrinkage within acceptable industry standards, or issues arising from failure to follow garment care instructions shall not be treated as manufacturing defects.
The decision of Zaavar's quality team shall be final.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
At present, Zaavar may offer shipping to select international destinations.
All international orders are considered final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange, except in cases where the product has a verified manufacturing defect.
Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other local charges levied by the destination country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping charges unless expressly stated otherwise.
Zaavar shall not be responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, import regulations, or other governmental procedures in the destination country.
In the event that an international shipment is refused, abandoned, or returned due to non-payment of customs duties, incorrect shipping information, or failure to accept delivery, no refund shall be issued. Any additional shipping, customs, handling, or return charges incurred shall be borne by the customer.
ORDER CANCELLATION
At Zaavar, every order is individually processed, quality checked, packed and prepared upon confirmation.
Customers may submit a cancellation request by contacting our Customer Care as soon as possible after placing the order.
However, cancellation requests are subject to the status of the order and are not guaranteed.
Once an order has entered processing, including quality inspection, packing, customization (if applicable), invoice generation, or has been handed over to our logistics partner for dispatch, it cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded.
Zaavar reserves the sole right to determine whether an order is eligible for cancellation based on its stage of processing.
If a cancellation request is approved before processing has commenced, the payment will be refunded through the original mode of payment within the applicable processing timelines.
Zaavar reserves the right to cancel any order at its sole discretion, including but not limited to pricing errors, suspected fraudulent transactions, duplicate orders, payment verification failures, stock unavailability, or any unforeseen operational circumstances. In such cases, if payment has been received, it will be refunded in full.
REFUSED OR UNDELIVERED SHIPMENTS
Refusal to accept delivery, repeated unavailability at the delivery address, or failure to receive the shipment shall not be treated as cancellation or return of the order.
If the shipment is returned to Zaavar under such circumstances, any re-shipping charges, handling charges, or other applicable costs shall be borne by the customer before the order can be dispatched again.
No refund shall be issued for orders refused or returned due to non-acceptance by the customer.
DAMAGED OR TAMPERED PACKAGES
If the outer package appears damaged, opened, or tampered with at the time of delivery, customers are advised to:
- Refuse delivery wherever possible; or
- Record an unboxing video immediately upon opening the package.
Claims relating to transit damage may not be accepted without sufficient supporting evidence.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
All products displayed on our website are subject to availability.
In rare cases where an ordered product becomes unavailable after order confirmation, Zaavar reserves the right to cancel the order and provide an appropriate resolution, including a full refund of the amount received for that unavailable item.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Zaavar's responsibility is limited to the value of the product purchased.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the purchase, use, delay in delivery, or inability to use any product purchased through our website.
POLICY UPDATES
Zaavar reserves the right to modify, update, amend, or revise this policy at any time without prior notice. The version published on the website at the time of purchase shall apply to the respective order.
DISCLAIMER
Every Zaavar garment is crafted using natural fabrics and traditional hand-block printing techniques, making each piece unique.
Minor variations in colour, print placement, texture, weave, thread irregularities, or handcrafted detailing are inherent characteristics of artisanal products and should not be considered defects.
Natural fabrics such as cotton, mulmul, linen, and Chanderi may exhibit slight shrinkage, softening, or texture changes after washing. Colour may also vary slightly due to differences in lighting, photography, screen resolution, and device settings.
